Lifeguard Readiness
This is an instructional class designed to introduce basic life saving skills and help prepare the student for a "Red Cross Life Saving" course.  Students must be able to perform the skills of the Intermediate I class.

Sessions Offered:                                            
Session 1:  6/10—6/21                          
Session 2:  6/24—7/5  (No class 7/4, makeup 7/5)             
Session 3:  7/8—7/19             
Session 4:  7/22—8/2
Session 5:  8/5—8-16

Groups:   $90 Members   /   $120.00 Non-members
Discount for members will be reflected at checkout. 
 
Registration Information:
Register online at www.perkasierec.com ONLY.  Class descriptions are available to ensure participants are registering for the correct level.   No refunds or transfers will be given if participants are not in the correct level. 

Registration Dates
        Member Registration Starts:  April 1, 2024 for all sessions
        Non-Member Registration Starts: April 15, 2024 for all sessions





  • All lessons are held outdoors at Menlo Aquatics Center and are 40 minutes long (30 minutes for private sessions).


  • Lessons are Monday – Thursday with holiday or weather related make-ups on Friday.


  • Make ups are only offered for Menlo Aquatics Center cancellations;not personal cancellations.


  • Swimmers are not guaranteed to get the same instructor for multiple sessions.


  • All lessons will be held in the Competitive Pool unless noted
